Creating AS199682 - Thomas Lochet gave me the opportunity to explore external routing technologies, learn IPv6 and, most importantly, understand the foundations of the Internet.

I first had to create records in the RIPE NCC database, the IP address registry for Europe. Then I worked with an LIR (Local Internet Registry) to obtain my ASN.

Once my autonomous system number was assigned, I requested IPv6 prefixes so I could own my own address space on the Internet.

At the moment, I announce two /48 prefixes (see here) through Constant, which provides me with IP transit, and I plan to add a second peer soon.
